Revolutionizing Book of Business transfers
Book of Business transfers—a common workflow between agents and carriers—have pained P&C companies for years. They typically involve moving a large group (or book) of policies from one carrier to another, and require enormous manual effort. This, in combination with high associated costs and technical challenges in automating the process, has historically prevented carriers from efficiently and intelligently processing these transfers. Until now.
AgencyPort's BookSmart™ product is the first automated solution for processing Book of Business transfers. It is a flexible and scalable solution that can handle automated book transfers for any line of business from each of the leading agency systems. BookSmart™:
- Is able to integrate with company rating and policy systems to move book data electronically, without re-keying.
- Provides users with an easy-to-use, flexible means to evaluate, edit and report on data that resides within the book roll application.
- Allows carriers to make adjustments to policy data, transforming coverage codes or other values specific to the prior carrier before moving the policies into the carrier's policy processing systems.
- Provides a fully functional book roll application to evaluate, report, view and edit data on a policy or "book" basis.
- Improves the accuracy of analysis and overall assessment of the book's quality.
- Stores data in ACORD XML. At any point within the book transfer evaluation, data can be sent by policy or in bulk to Company systems or rating engine.
- Integrated with agency vendor transport services such as TransactNOW (single policy or bulk transfer), Transformation Station, SIS WebLink and other systems.
- Can consume, if available from the agency vendor system export service, bulk data "bridged" from the agency management systems (ie. AMS- TRANSIT TWS).
- Includes numerous 'import modules' designed to facilitate the collection of policy data one at a time or in bulk from a variety of sources including AL3, ACORD XML, and spreadsheet reports.
